I ♥ Fun!

This week at I ♥ Faces there is a "Just for Fun" category. It took me a while to find this picture. It's not the greatest picture as far as color, edits and lighting etc goes, but I chose it because it melts my heart whenever I look at it. It reminds me of how much fun it is to have a house full of sweet boys! I took this last May right before Will turned a year old. I hope you like it! I ♥ Weddings!

Hello everyone! This week the theme at I ♥ Faces is Wedding Bells! My brother got married three weeks ago so I decided to choose a picture from their wedding. It was the first wedding I've been to since I got my professional camera. I had fun trying new techniques and testing a few of its limits. The experience made made me realize two things. First, I have so much more to learn about photography! Secondly, I would love to take pictures for a living. I'll keep reading, keep learning and wait to see what plans God might have in photography for my future (if there are any!). I can only hope right?!? Anyway, I took this picture right before Jeb and Bonnie got in their car to drive away from their reception. I hope you like it and as always, I would love to hear what you think! I ♥ Faces: No Girls Allowed!

Kids Category

This week at I ♥ Faces, the theme is "Let's Hear it for the Boys"! Since I am the mother of three boys, the hardest thing for me was figuring out which picture to post! I finally chose this one because I love the mischievous sparkle in their eyes as they were playing together in the laundry basket. My boys love to make silly faces like this one!

Adult Category

The adult category was a little hard for me. I don't have many pictures of just grown men; most of my pictures are of Little Men or Little Men With Their Daddy. I found this picture of my husband and my father that I took last summer at my cousin's Rehearsal Dinner. The two of them can be just as silly as my children when they get together! There they were, all dressed up in suits and making fun of my mom and I who were taking tons of pictures. They decided to have a little picture fun of their own and pose for us. This picture serves as a reminder that no matter how old we get-life is to short not to bring out the kid inside of us! Thanks so much for stopping by-I'd love to hear what you think! I ♥ Faces: Sepia Toned

My goodness, I can't believe it has been two weeks since I have logged on here! I am so sorry! My brother got married last weekend and then my sister was in town from Washington all last week and I spent every moment I could with her. This week I'm playing catch up and hoping to have time to write-finally!

In the meantime, I missed last week at I ♥ Faces and didn't want to miss it again! The theme this week is Sepia toned. I have always loved Sepia toned pictures and had a hard time deciding which ones to use. This is what I finally came up with...

Kids Category

For the kids category I chose a picture I took of my sweet niece, Bronwen on Easter Sunday. She has the most kissable cheeks! I love how she looks so laid back and relaxed, totally uninterested or bothered by the big camera in her face! I miss her so much. Washington is so far from Georgia!

Adult Category

For the adult category, I chose a picture I took last weekend at my brother's Rehearsal dinner. Can you tell Jeb and Bonnie were excited about getting married the next day :) I am so happy my brother has found his one true love!

I ♥ Birthdays and Pets

The theme this week at I ♥ Faces is Birthday's and Pets (which basically means any picture of an animal). I had a hard time deciding which birthday photo I wanted to use. I finally decided to use a more recent shot from Will's second birthday that we celebrated just a few weeks ago.
He was excited about his big day, but not nearly as excited as his older brother! Will sat and stared at his cake, not blowing out his candles. I think he was more fascinated by the light from the candle and maybe a little confused at the singing and the attention. As the picture shows, his big #2 candle started melting so much it has a huge dent in it and I had to call on the help of his older siblings to blow it out! I love how their faces are all puffed up with air and you can see the smoke blowing across the cake. My only wish is that you could see Will's face, but I'll know better for his next birthday! Anyway...Here's my Birthday entry:

A Little Help From My Siblings

My Pets entry is a photo of our adopted pet-Welsey's parents dog, Buddie. Will no longer says "Nonna and Papa's House" it is now called "Buddie's House". Buddie is a special part of our family. We love that our children have two sets of grandparents with dogs so they can pretend its theirs when we visit! Randol just loves to hold her "pets" on their leash and guide them!
