I ♥ Yellow!

Sadly, it has been a while since I have done I ♥ Faces. It's not that I haven't wanted to, it's that my time has been stretched so thin the last few weeks, I haven't been able to. Every week I'll see the theme, know what picture to post and then on WEDNESDAY (they must be posted by Tuesday) when I start go upload it, I realize that I'm a day too late. I'm not sure what is wrong with my brain these days! Anyway, this week the theme is yellow! When I think of this color I think of summer and of smiley faces. It's such a happy color!

The picture I chose is of two gals wearing yellow-the same dresses they wore the day their husband/daddy came home for his 14 day R&R break from the desert. He is now proudly serving our country in Afghanistan. I pray for his safety and for his wife and baby that he has had to leave behind. We don't realize how many people are giving up their husbands, their children's birthdays and graduations, holiday's and memories, to protect the freedoms we so often take for granted. These families are real hero's. I was so honored to be able to capture them together on his short trip home.
